Centenary University is a private university located in Hackettstown, New Jersey. Founded in 1867 by the Newark Conference of the United Methodist Church, it has evolved from a preparatory school to a coeducational university. In 2000, Hwa Nan Women’s College and Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA, established an agreement allowing Hwa Nan graduates to pursue a BA degree at Centenary in just one year. To apply, candidates must achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 75 or an IELTS score of 5. Eligible students can receive scholarships covering dormitory and food expenses.

Since the agreement began, approximately 23 Hwa Nan graduates have earned BA degrees from Centenary University, with many continuing on to pursue Master’s or Ph.D. degrees.
